TO OUR VALUED CUSTOMER:

Per our Service Agreement, if you must cancel your appointment, please give us as much notice as possible. We understand that schedules change, but short notice cancellations or no shows will result in a fee of up to the full price of the groom and the inability to book future appointments.

Cancellation POLICY:

We require a 24-hour notice of appointment change or cancellation prior to your scheduled appointment. We reserve the right to charge the FULL grooming cost due to the loss of revenue caused by a “no-show.” Please make every effort to call and cancel or reschedule when possible to avoid such situations.

Cat Grooming Policy

Thank you for choosing Prancin’ Paws Pet Spaw for your cat’s grooming needs. We have a few important policies in place to ensure the safety and well-being of all cats in our care. Please take note of the following guidelines:

  1. Carriers Required: All cats must be brought into the facility in a carrier. If you have multiple cats, each cat must be in a separate carrier – NO EXCEPTIONS. This policy is in place to prevent any potential harm that may arise from cats not recognizing each other’s scent post-grooming.
  2. Vaccination Requirements: Cats must be current on rabies and distemper vaccinations. There is a mandatory 2-week waiting period prior to grooming to ensure there are no side effects from vaccinations.
  3. Collar Removal: All collars must be removed from cats and can be securely fastened to the handle of their carrier.
  4. ACEPROMAZINE Medication: If your cat is medicated with ACEPROMAZINE, please medicate them on an empty stomach right before transport to Prancin’ Paws Pet Spaw. Do not medicate your cat earlier than this.
  5. Honesty in Reservation: When making a reservation, please be honest about the condition of your cat’s coat. We typically book reservations 2-3 weeks in advance.
  6. Photography Consent: By using our services, you agree to let Prancin’ Paws Pet Spaw take photos of your cat for promotional, marketing, and educational purposes both in-store and/or online. This applies to cats being groomed by us. Please note that Prancin’ Paws Pet Spaw retains the rights to such images.
  7. Emergency Contact: We require a telephone number where the owner can be reached in case of emergency or if additional services are required.

These policies ensure a safe and comfortable experience for all cats in our care and for our groomers. Thank you for your cooperation, and we look forward to providing exceptional service for your beloved kitty companion. We reserve the right to refuse/reschedule any late arrivals.
We must be able to evaluate all cats prior to grooming.

IMPORTANT HEALTH NOTE:

We want to ensure the health and safety of all cats in our facility. Therefore, we have specific policies regarding certain health conditions:

FIP Positive Cats: We do not accept cats that are FIP (Infectious Peritonitis) positive. FIP is a serious and contagious disease that can pose a risk to other cats in our facility. We prioritize the well-being of all cats in our care and must adhere to this policy to prevent the spread of the disease.

Ringworm Treatment: Cats currently being treated for ringworm cannot be accepted for grooming. Ringworm is highly contagious, and it’s essential that all medication prescribed for ringworm treatment is completed at least 1 week prior to your cat’s visit. This ensures that the infection is properly treated and reduces the risk of transmission to other cats or our staff.

FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) or FeLV (Feline Leukemia Virus) – While we do not accept cats that are FIP positive due to the contagious nature of the disease, we are able to groom cats that are FIV or FeLV positive. If you have a cat with FIV or FeLV and would like to schedule a grooming appointment, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
